Christmas Video

Alethea was asked to do the voice over for this Junior Sunday School Christmas video. It's a bit *soft*. But if you know Alethea, it's totally in character! :)

Alethea's Mid-Year Exams

Inspired by ideas from some Charlotte Mason inspired families in the US, we conducted our mid-year-exam-with-a-difference earlier this month. The idea was to allow our children to showcase snippets of what they had learnt in the year - Bible verses memorised, poems recited, hymns sung, reading accomplished, etc. And it was a hit! Here are some videos. We hope it will inspire you to capture those wonderful memories you are making with your children along your homeschool journey!

Nathalie's Mid-Year Exams

Before you start thinking that homeschoolers are a crazy bunch ... no, Nathalie is only three and a half years old so exams aren't required of her. But she was so involved in the making of Che Che Alethea's videos that she wanted to do a couple herself. Here they are:

Happy Birthday Moon ... Nathalie's Version

This is what she's saying ... :)

Happy birthday moon! The moon couldn’t reply. Well, I’m so far. I’m so far. I can’t reach the moon. Hello! And the bear climbed up the tall tree and the tall tree was moving. And so he got to another tall tree. Climbed, climbed climbed. And so he reached to the moon. And he got to the mountain. And the moon was there.

Hello! Hello moon. The moon couldn’t reply. And he walked, walked, walked. And he poured the money down. And he bring the moon a hat. And he put it on top of the tree. And it come closer and closer and closer and closer. And it come closer to, to the hat. And it fits right nice. And it fits right nice. And it was near to his doorstep. And it came rushing away. Hello moon. I lost the beautiful hat you gave me. Never mind, I still love you so much. And the moon couldn’t reply.

The end.
